At Insight Counselling & Therapy Centre, groups typically meet once a week for a 1.5-2 hour session either in person or through a secure online platform, due to Covid-19. Within this time together, you will be able to explore varying issues such as Adult ADHD, Parenting, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Grief, and many other subjects.

Our Emotion Coaching group is based on Dr.s John & Julie Gottman's extensive research on couples and parenting. Emotion Coaching is an approach for talking to children about the emotions they are experiencing in a way that supports their self-regulation. It involves listening to the child and talking with them about the emotions they are feeling rather than simply trying to distract or dismiss them. Your child's mastery of understanding and regulating their emotions will help them to succeed in life in a myriad of different ways. They will be more self-confident, perform better in social and academic situations, and even become physically healthier.
